Got 99 Ops tools but a brain ain't one
RevOps tools just don't play nice.
Who’s pile of bananas are you fighting for?
Does your customer support system integrate with everything else in your stack automatically?
Or is more like how some systems — Lead Manager and all of the AllState software suite, I’m looking at you — require you to download this and upload that and aggregate that just figure out what kinds of commissions to pay people.
And this is what we consider state of the art?
People doing the work that a bookkeeper would do in the 1800’s? I’m sure it’s spreadsheets but if everything else is some sort of click this to calculate that… and download data over here so you can enter it into the sheet tab over there and HOPE that your existing calculations work.
Feels very Bob Cratchit to me (Tiny Tim’s dad in the Christmas story).
And if you don’t get that all done before the clock strikes twelve… guess you look for insights next month.
